Hello Softball Families,

Due to current State COVID restrictions, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the annual Winter Workouts. Instead, we hope to work with our coaches and volunteers to schedule gym time for indoor team practices as early as the beginning of March. The sooner we get our players moving around, knocking off the rust, and gelling as a team, the more prepared for the season they'll be.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce that registration for the Spring Season is now officially open! The sooner you all register, the sooner we can get teams working with each other - so don't delay!

Spring Season Details

Like past years, Carver will participate in Old Silver Lake League's 6-week regular season program and a 1-week playoff system. The season will begin on April 25th and the playoffs will begin on June 6th. Divisions are based on grade (Tykes: K-2, Minors: 3-4, Juniors: 5-6, Seniors: 7-12).

Registration is officially open - just CLICK HERE or go to our website and click the Registration banner. Cost is $110 per player for the Minor, Junior, and Senior divisions and $55 for the Tykes division. Registration deadline is March 1, 2021.

Uniforms will be similar to previous years - black pants and maroon socks; however, this year the league will be providing a face covering (mask or neck gaiter) and a shirt with a number and the player's last name on the back. This new shirt will be used in the Summer and Fall seasons as well.

COVID Protocols

Just like the Fall Season, this Spring Season will require face coverings, social distancing, and hand sanitizing. We are all used to these measures by now and our continued willingness is key to ensuring a successful and enjoyable season. A completed COVID-19 Waiver will be required in order for a player to participate in the Spring Season. Just print, sign and email back to the league (

Coaches and Volunteers

All Coaches and Volunteers are required to complete a CORI check. The league maintains the CORI records and will reach out individually to all coaches and volunteers that need to complete one.

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out ( with any questions or concerns.

Thank you.
