Hello Softball Families,
Good news! Details about the OSLL Fall Season arrived earlier than expected.
Like past years, this Fall Season will be a 7 week (6 game) program that starts after Labor Day and finishes up in late October (no games Columbus Day weekend). Although there were discussions to make the Fall more like the Spring (weekday games, playoffs, etc), that was not the direction the league took.
Below is a summary of the Fall Season:
Same rules as the OSLL
Divisions are based on the grade the player will be in at the start of school in the fall
Games start after Labor Day and run until mid to late October (no games on Columbus Day weekend)
Games are typically Sundays at 10AM
OSLL may schedule some doubleheaders and shorten each game to provide the girls an opportunity to play more games since there was no spring season.
Uniforms will be the same as previous Fall Seasons - black pants, cranberry socks, and the Carver Fall Ball cranberry cotton t-shirt. To keep costs as low as possible, we'll be asking that players reuse previous Carver Fall Ball t-shirts. If your player does not have one or if socks are needed, please indicate that when you register.
As mentioned before, this Fall Season will likely include face coverings, social distancing, and hand sanitizing. More details to follow soon.
